About Us

Rise & Shine Christian Academy, in Columbia, TN, offers a nurturing environment for children ages 2-5 in the surrounding areas. With a focus on early childhood development, our academy provides full-time care and age-appropriate classes. We also accept the State Certificate Program to support families in need. Join us in fostering a love of learning and values in our youngest learners.

Rise & Shine has been our home away from home! We started attending when he was eligible and in diapers. Now he is in Pre-K, potty trained, and grown up! Huge thanks to all the staff members now and in the past! They update their calendars monthly and include fun events for the kids. My son looks forward to seeing his teachers and friends every day and expects us to go on weekends. 😂 He is always excited to come home and sing all the songs he's learned to me. He has learned so much and made "best friends" with the other kids in class. I appreciate (as a parent) how transparent the staff has been with me about my son's behaviors and/or issues if they occur. Thank you all so much! You guys made best preschool for 2024 and deserve it!

Such a great place for kids! My older son went here (he's now in 1st grade) and he's learned so much from Rise and Shine that he has EXCELLED in school! Straight A student because Rise and Shine thought him everything he needed to know before he went into school! Now my younger child goes there, and within 3 months of being there he can count to 10! Which he's NEVER done before. But 3 months! Wow! I'm very glad with this daycare. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Rise and Shine helped raise both of my kiddos into primary school! Without them I would have struggled through potty training and navigating the world of toddlerhood. They fully prepared my son for kindergarten, putting him ahead of his peers in letter fluency and sound fluency. My daughter, though pulled out for public pre-k also knows her letters and some sounds before she needs to and that is amazing! (Coming from a kindergarten teacher who hasn’t lifted a finger yet). They loved my babies so hard and my babies love them back! I fully recommend them 100 percent to anyone!
